(ANSO) In the past two weeks ANSF/IMF forces were concentrating in clearing up AOGs strongholds in in the northern Chahar Dara and particulary in Gortepa Area of Kunduz District. Although important AOG resistance has been expected in both areas, besides extensive IEDs deployment, ANSF/IMF did not encounter a strong opposition, indicating that the majority of the fighters withdrew to the surrounding districts, particularly towards Dasht-e-Archi and Imam Sahib.
